Altered Trading Card Holders
by Aileen Roberts

Instructions:

Run the slidemailer through the Xyron. Lay the ribbon one half inch to one inch away from the center edge of the mailer. Apply glue to the top of the ribbon and then lay it onto the paper. Bend the mailer and paper together at the spine. (This allows the mailer to bend and the paper to not be too short.) Repeat on the other side with ribbon. Trim the excess paper from the mailer. Cut out the "T" of the mailer. Paint the ribbon, inside of the mailer and the niche with Lumiere paint. Cut the Kinkaid 3D scene down to ATC size and glue to the card stock. Add the girl image. Print out the saying onto a transparency. Cut it to size. Run it through the Xyron and add to inside of the mailer. Add glassine leaves to the outside of the mailer. Using the KrystalKraft cleaning solution, rub with a cloth over the Real life word stickers removing the black background. Next, apply amber alcohol ink to the word stickers with a cloth and then apply to the front of the mailer. Run the Krylon pen around all edges of the mailer.
